For the Love of JDM hosted their 4th Meet & Greet in conjunction with JDM Certified & RocoMama’s Stoneridge, a night filled with Burgers, Shakes & Mates. With just over a 100 cars parked in the underground parking lot just below RocoMama’s, guys enjoyed the company of fellow JDM lovers.

After enjoying a great burger & shake with a few of the guys, as well as play an epic 31 level of jenga, I headed back down the escalator to find that the parking area was swarming with hum of JDM lovers and than unmistakable sound of Cruize’s Mazda RX7, as the brap brap brap echoed through the parking lot.

Sadly I had missed the opportunity of taking pics of a few of the cars, as the jenga game took longer that expected lol. So I missed Ernest’s stunning Nissan Silvia S15 that he had brought along, as well as a couple of stunning Scoobies and a few neat Honda FN2’s… sorry guys, next event I’ll snap away. However! This month feature car; Kirschlee Naidoo’s stunning “Green Hell” Mitsubishi Evo8 was there in all it’s glorious curves & trims.

Another familiar face to the Jozi JDM scene, Nicholas Taljaard graced the event too with his Honda Civic that made cover a few years back, an interesting story their between driver & car. He sold her a few years back & once again after a few years they made it back together; a true JDM Love story hahahaha, great to see them back together.

As the night died down, guys made their way home the parking lot started emptying out which gave some of the toggers the opportunity to get some shots of the stragglers, as it’s never easy to get epic shots which all the cars are parked rite up against each other.

All in all it was a great turn out, and the food was great, a big thanks goes to Peet & Tumi from RocoMama’s, and to JDM Certified’s Rinzo & Kervarshen for co-hosting. The next big event will be German VS Jap at Nasrec on the 1st July. Till then, keep it fresh, keep it JDM & as always…  Keep it SUPAFLY!
