On Sale: 15 March

Issue 103 is once again, wicked, cool and worth sinking your teeth into. The car splashed on the cover is special in a few ways. Firstly, it’s a Cape car, as you know most hail from Gauteng simply because there are more up here. Then, it’s also owned by a lady, which as you know, it’s not common to see a tasty woman with a tasty car. The only other one I can recall over the last ten years was Sone and her Honda. The last cool point about the car is that it’s now the first time a husband and wife team have had covers cars. Firdous’ husband, Noer, is owner of the insane gold 350Z that graced the cover of Issue 86. So yeah, a special car that’s gonna make many guys green with envy. Added to that we have Rod’s 335i sporting a two-tone look, some mods and the hottest Asanti wheels this side of LA. There’s mixed reviews on the car but we think it rocks, hence the feature. We showcase our own Zack Abba’s Mk4 GTi .:R that’s looking really hot and has seen some nice tweaks over the years. Zack was chuffed, but then got so excited he pee’d his pants a little. The chaps at RGM booked the car in and tuned it with a new Uni-Q and while it was there, Captain Torco appeared and showed them how to do things properly; it was quite a surprise to us! Adding to the VAG car show is an Audi TT with styling and motor tweaks that’ll make your eyes water.
It’s hot and fast, and for some mad reason, for sale too! Still on the German front, but doing a time warp we have Chris Davison’s latest project, a Group N Superboss replica that’s gonna make Opel fans rather jealous. It’s been build from the ground up and features all the best of the best parts, it’s even been sprayed in the same Pineapple Yellow that Mike Briggs’ early 90’s racecer wore. The car was shot at Zwartkops and in the original livery; you can imagine some of the pics being shot back in the day. It was also pretty fun going for a suicide ride in the car, we loved it! You also have all the usual features and interesting bits and bobs strewn throughout the magazine, so like we say every month, go and get yourself a copy ASAP.
