Issue 126 – On Sale 20 February

We cruise across the entire country this time round with the March edition of Speed and Sound Magazine, Issue 126.

We stopped in the Cape to bring you more tasty stance flavour with a JDM+ EK9 Honda Civic and a classic Euro-feel VW Golf, part of the ever growing Euro-style trend. This one has been seen around and finally graces our pages at long last.

For the lovers of old-school-cool there’s the low-down on a meaty Mk2 Ford Escort boosted to the heavens with a neat RS2000 body – a winner in any Ford fan’s books.

We bring back Mild-to-Wild with a duo of E70 Toyota Corollas. One breathes through a set of individual throttle bodies while the other has the air rammed down its throat by two massive turbos. Quick times are on the cards for both cars.

For those with slightly more opulent taste, we paid the AMG factory a visit to take a look at their reworking of a violent ML63AMG – proof that even the pen pushers want to have some fun too.

Toyota fans can rejoice yet again this month as we feature a banging RunX with no stone left unturned. Fully kitted out by Craighall Car Audio, this RunX is something different. Joe’s Hygrade fettled Ford Fiesta makes an appearance too, showcasing its simple yet effective use of space to make a powerful system.

This issue, however, is crammed with loads of event coverage with everything from the Fast and Furious and Glorious show in Cape Town to the Durban Dub day, as well as the VW Club Breakfast Run and the Ultimate Streetcar series where we tailed Thouca Mechanicos for the day.

We look at how brakes are made and why you should upgrade as well as an entry level tech on installing a head unit the right way – perfect for budding installers or DIY enthusiasts.

All of this great content and more in the March edition of Speed and Sound Magazine, Issue 126. On sale 20 February.

Many tuners can help out with that. The last one we heard of was Precision Race, but they were only doing new Citi’s at the time.
