JHB Parties hosted their Toyz 4 Boyz show this past weekend at the Pyramid Conference Centre in Eloff Street Johannesburg in the undercover parking area. A pretty unique venue if I do say so myself. I arrived there just after 9am to make sure I got a great parking spot and was met by Rizo who I can see had been running around since the early hours of the day.I parked the Toaster and made my way up to Jason Rodrigues from Diamondworx Detailing and his fresh “Porsche Mexico blue” Audi S3, which he brought out to this show for the first time. Not only was this Audi Fresh as Fuk, but he slammed it down thanks to FS Project over a set of Ispiri CSDR1D directional wheels… Nice one dude!Well we waited for the rest of the cars to arrive, the venue which looked like an old warehouse, slowly started filling up with more and more awesome cars. All I can say is thank goodness the venue was undercover, as it was a blistering hot day out side; not that it helped with the heat in the venue, but the shade helped keep us all out the sun.Walking through the show snapping away, I spotted quite a few awesome cars, and a hand full of these came out of Fantasy Ridez stable, as they brought out their Old School Mercs and their Dodge Split bonnet Pick-up truck all bagged and slammed to the ground. Showing that these guys know how to show off a smoregus board of classy bagged classic cars and even a few new school VAG’s too.Joel and Annie pulled through for a couple of hours in the morning to show off Annie’s freshly fitted Racing Hart Concepts range of Radi8 r8cm9 wheels, not to mention she had just dropped her A45 on a set of H&R sport springs too… so her car was not only sitting pretty, but looking sportier than ever; showing why she’s the “Queen Petrol head” hahahaha. As the day went on more and more cars pulled in which made it a little crowed for my liking as new arrivals soon blocked people in and made it harder to move around and take photos (Just a little something the guys from Uber Fitment can look into for the next show). With food stalls keeping everyone fed, the guys from Jozi Car Bar kept everyone hydrated; a really cool little VW Kombi Car Bar. To keep us entertained JHB Parties brought in an Aerial Silk Rope Dancer, who took to the skies and with her acrobatic skills and made it look so easy and effortless as she suspended from the show. What can I say, yet another awesome show by Rizo and his team from JHB Parties, till next time keep the passion, keep it slammed and as always keep it Supafly.
